Fragment 5:
There is no transition between wakefulness and rest. The body remains anchored in an intermediate point, as if the system has not yet decided how to classify you. I hold my posture to avoid forcing anything. Any sudden change triggers alarms.
Here, compatibility is not an immutable quality; it is a constant negotiation. Small, methodical adjustments, invisible surrenders. Everything works, but never entirely. Energy circulates with accepted losses. No one talks about it, ever.
I have learned to stay right there, just before the joint. That stable instant where nothing improves, but nothing worsens either. If I breathe slowly, I manage to blend into the environment. It is not rest. It is a technical truce.
Tomorrow, I will try again. Not to adapt, but to remain here, to resist absorption. Sometimes, that is enough to feel alive.
