Fragment 6:
Something ancient lives nearby, inside me. I do not watch it. I know it is there by the constant pressure, by the way the air rearranges itself. It does not demand attention. That makes it tolerable.
I do not emit unnecessary signals either. I reduce movement, thought, expectations. I become a stable value within the set. When everything stays still long enough, the system recalculates and moves on, passing by.
It is not harmony. It is forced balance. It is fear. But as long as it lasts, no one comes to disturb us.
