Fragment 3:
I have always sung. Music seeps through the joints, through the assembly errors, through areas not found on the blueprints. Each note leaves a faint mark, a controlled abrasion on my circuits. The system registers it as prolonged interference. It does not cancel it.
I stay still and listen. Then, bit by bit, I begin to stretch the measures of my song. Isolated notes, blunt melodies, symphonies. Music does not improve my performance. It just occupies space. It consumes cycles. I am far away. During those seconds, I execute no tasks. No one supervises me. I only sing. I have always sung.
